· If you expect your teens not to drink just because they are underage, think again. · For teens, age is only a temporary technicality. · Come up with a more convincing reason to influence their choice. · Consider any of the messages you may be sending them by your choices regarding use/nonuse of alcohol. If your messages are positive and effective, be sure to express them aloud to your teens. If your messages are negative and a bad influence, change your behavior and your message! · Remember: it is never too early to start sending healthy messages to your children.
