Embarass your family by aggressively confronting the coach

Scream profanity or negative comments from the bleachers or worse |

Criticize players in earshot of nearby spectators— especially their families |

Call your kid a loser or derogatory labels like wimp, lazy, and worse |

Keep replaying a post game analysis after your kid has moved on |

Emphasize your negative feelings toward the game over any feelings your child has |

Neglect to ask if your son/daughter had fun playing |

Fail to encourage your child to evaluate his/her own performance |

Have a higher commitment level to the sport than your child does |

Pay sports fees in excess of your house or car payments |

Ignore your other kids’ complaints that they never get to do anything else |

Do not encourage your child to explore his/her additional interests |
