Weight loss and New Year’s Resolution -Part 3
by Dr. Coach Love
In Part 1 I talked about the reasons New Year’s Resolutions fail and suggested 8 planning tips for success. Resolutions are about making changes in your life. The first 4 tips are listed in Part 2. Here are the next planning tips for you to consider.

5. Retain a life coach for yourself. As with any service, screen for experience, education, and credentials. Life coaching is an unregulated business. For guidelines on how to select a coach, go to www.HireCoach.com and click on Choosing a Coach.
6. Be creative with your next get together with your “friends” or neighbors. Forget the movie nights, getaway weekends or the selling “parties” (candle, jewelry, make up, kitchen items, etc.). Sponsor a Goal Getting Party at your home. Make it fun and interactive.
7. Establish regular checkpoints for accountability and progress together with a designated someone.
8. In addition to the idea in #6, consider hiring a professional life coach to provide group coaching at your goal parties. The cost is economical, especially when shared.
